"In years past we were using synthetic fertilizer and received positive results, but after careful consideration 2008 was the first year that the City of South Portland went completely organic. Given the current concerns on the environmental impact of synthetic fertilizers and close approximation to Casco Bay, we felt that we needed to take the initiative to "go green". The results were fantastic in regards to sustainability, response and overall health of the turf. The misconception that you need warm temperatures to gain benefits from organics were fictitious given our location to the Maine coastline. I would highly encourage any municipality, school or university to give serious consideration to the products and services provided by Purely Organic Lawn care."
