Today's premiere synthetic turf surfaces are a combination of high-tech materials, so it takes specialized expertise to keep them looking their best, extend longevity and maximize performance throughout their lifespan. That's exactly what Turf Specialist, LLC provides. We have a long and proven track record installing and maintaining synthetic turf surfaces at schools, playgrounds and athletic fields.

As part of our routine maintenance program, we use state-of-the-art cleaning and grooming equipment to vacuum the playing surface and filter out dirt and debris. After the rubber infill material has been cleaned, it is redistributed evenly back into synthetic turf. Next spiked brushes “aerate” the field to restore its bounce and provide a more comfortable and responsive playing surface that feels even more lively and forgiving than natural turf.

As the final step, we apply a special enzyme that kills any germs and bacteria that may be present in the synthetic turf. This stops the field from becoming a potential breeding ground for bacteria and prevents the spread of infection. A single treatment protects for up to six months, so we recommend two to three treatments, either pre- and post-season, or between indoor sessions, as part of an annual program.
